Individual Class Photos-Tuesday, October 6th

Photographers will be at Brooke Tuesday morning to take individual photos of all of our students. Photos will be taken in the gym and safety protocols will be in effect. If your child is absent on Tuesday, no worries! We will have photo retakes on another day.

Fall Weather

Just a reminder that as the weather gets cold and wet, please make sure that kids come dressed appropriately for the outdoors in all sorts of weather (eg. jacket, waterproof/water resistant footwear, hat, gloves, etc…) . Please expect that kids will go out for recess and lunch, unless there is extreme weather. It is recommended that ALL students have an extra change of clothes at school, labelled and kept in their backpacks

Absentee Line

Just a reminder, if your child will be absent please call in your child’s absence at 604-583-6668, and leave a message when prompted. If calling after 9:15am, please call and speak directly to our administrative assistant, Mrs. Werner.

“Wheels” Safety

It is great to see so many of our Brooke students riding their bikes, scooters, and roller blades to school…..with their helmets! Exercise in the morning is a great way to start off our day! Please remember that, for the safety of all, we must be walking our bikes, scooters and have replaced our roller blades for our shoes as soon as we enter school grounds.

DPAC: Delta District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) would like to invite all parents and guardians in the SD37 school community to two (2) upcoming events with Superintendent Doug Sheppard. These events will be an opportunity to learn more about this year’s back to school plan, ask questions, and share your feedback and concerns.

• Monday, October 5 at 7pm – 8pm (*Delta DPAC General Meeting to follow immediately after the Q&A session) • Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm Due to COVID-19 restrictions, both events will be held online with a moderated Q&A session.
