Thank you to our Brooke Families:

We would like to thank our Brooke community for doing such a wonderful job with supporting our new protocols this past fall. We’ve had many changes this year but we appreciate the effort  our families have made to ensure we are all safe. As the weather changes and flu season arrives, we gently remind our families of a few of our important safety guidelines.

  • Students should only arrive to school 5 minutes before their scheduled day starts (we understand some siblings may have to wait 10 minutes for their staggered bell to ring).
  • Students/Families should head straight home once students are dismissed at the end o f the day. That would include not playing on the playground or hanging out with friends. 
  • Parents who are waiting for their children should practice physical distancing and stand a good distance away from doors and other parents. SPIRIT WEEK AT BROOKE!

SPIRIT WEEK AT BROOKE!

Next week, we will be having five different spirit days at Brooke! Students are encouraged to participate in as many days as they wish!

  • Monday: Matching Day (wear same colours, clothes, hair, etc) with as many classmates as you’d like.
  • Tuesday: Jersey Day-wear your favourite shirt/hoodie from your own or professional team
  • Wednesday: Colour Day (classes have been assigned a colour to wear)
  • Thursday: Environment Day (Be kind to the environment today-litterless lunches, walk to school, etc)
  • Friday: PJ Day

Cold Weather is HERE!

It is that time of year when the temperature drops quite a bit outside and we see much more rainy weather. As we plan to spend time outside everyday at recess and lunch, please ensure your child is dressed for the weather. (Rain gear, jackets, gloves, etc). Please send a change of clothes for your children as well for days we end up a little too muddy outside. This is recommended for all of our grades 1-7 students.
